Both the Sitting Room and the Dining Room overlook The Crossburn’s private woodland. After a sumptuous dinner, perhaps enjoying conversation with other guests around the huge Victorian table, why not relax in the deep leather armchairs in the sitting room and maybe select a book from the extensive bookshelves that completely fill one wall. In the summer, you may prefer to find a secluded spot in the gardens or woods and listen to the water in the burn as it makes its way onwards to the sea. On cooler evenings the fire in the sitting room is always a welcome addition.
For those seeking quiet there is also a guest's sitting room on the first floor landing adjacent to the bedrooms.
